Structual rescue of an unsupported 1st floorPublished 08/04/2018
This week we helped a client as he had a load bearing wall removed in stevenage. The problem was they didnt think the wall was load bearing and so left the floor above insupported. After a bit of time the 1st floor began to drop. When we surveyed the site the floor had drop by 35mm. Once we got our team on site we lifted the floor back up to its origional height. We then supported the whole floor with acro props and installed an RSJ. Following this we plastered the area ready for the decorators. The end result was the floor back in its origional position with the correct support in place. Another job completed and more happy clients to recommend our services.
